Leaving on a Jet Plane: International Art in an Australian Context

Collecting art is becoming an increasingly international activity.

International art collecting is on the rise. The growing popularity of art fairs and biennales and the increasing affordability of travel have seen the emergence of art as an experience and a destination.  This discussion will see a group of collectors, curators, gallerists and artists talk about the emergence of the trans-national collector and what this might mean for Australian art, artists and galleries. Speakers include Dick Quan, Liz Ann McGregor, Michael Reid, Evan Hughes & Alex Seton.
